Founded in 1998 by Patricia Jenkinson, Jenkinson Associates originally focused on marketing and public opinion research. Simultaneously, Patricia Jenkinson is a professor of Communication at both California State University, Sacramento and Sacramento City College. So it was only natural that she branched out into communication consulting, conducting seminars and trainings on oral presentation skills, conflict management, and other communication-related concepts.

Research projects are designed with the end goal of producing the most accurate information possible. Careful attention is paid to the survey instrument to identify potential biases, flaws, as well as the usefulness of the resulting information.
Jenkinson Associates has conducted general communication workshops for educational institutions; facilitated for organizations on mission, vision and goals; facilitated contract negotiations, and provided personalized coaching for organizations planning for oral presentations.
